Painting like Botticelli - Two day class / Seminario di due giorni

A 2 day course in how to paint in the Renaissance style to be held in Florence, Italy, home of the Renaissance. This is a free class, all materials are provided including canvasses, paints, mediums and tuition. It is free as the Art with Love Foundation provides free art classes worldwide. The teacher for the class is Stephen Ninnes. Stephen has worked with this style for many years. The class is run over 2 days at our Florence studio.  You will learn how to paint in the Renaissance style from the start of doing the drawing through to the first few layers of the painting.  Each student will work on two canvasses as you will need to wait for each canvas to dry during the class. There will be 2 subject matters for this class. Firstly the Mona Lisa and then one chosen of your own liking. Please choose this before you arrive and bring a printed copy of what you want to paint. The style that we are painting in is Renaissance, however, you will find that you will never have painted the way you will at this course.  It is about the feeling of it rather than the doing. An exceptional way to paint which will lead you into a further understanding of how the masters from the 15th century painted. Each day we will commence at 10 am and finish at 5pm. Corso di due giorni in tecnica rinascimentale di pittura ad olio.  Il corso è completamente gratuito, sia per quanto riguarda le lezioni che tutti i materiali inclusi tele, pennelli, colori, medium.  La Fondazione Art with Love promuove corsi gratuiti di pittura in vari luoghi nel mondo.  L'insegnante che terrà i corsi è Stephen Ninnes. Stephen ha lavorato con queste tecniche per molti anni.  Il corso si terrà per 2 giorni consecutivi allo studio Art with Love di Firenze. Imparerete come dipingere in stile rinascimentale, partendo dal disegno e proseguendo con i primi strati di colore. Ogni studente lavorerà su due tele, poichè è necessario attendere che ciascuno strato di colore si asciughi prima di poter procedere.  Il corso affronterà due soggetti, il primo sarà la Monna Lisa, il secondo un soggetto a vostra scelta, di quest'ultimo si prega di portare copia cartacea all'inizio del corso. Dipingeremo in stile rinascimentale, tuttavia il corso vi consentirà di esprimervi come mai avete fatto fino ad ora. Si tratterà di "sentire" piuttosto che di "fare".  È un approccio del tutto straordinario che vi consentirà di comprendere come dipingevano i maestri del XV secolo. Le lezioni si terranno dalle 10 alle 18.
