Paint Like Botticelli Australian Easter (1)

A 2 day course in how to paint in the renaissance style to be held in Bulimba, Brisbane Australia

This is a free class, all materials are provided. Including canvasses, paints, mediums and tuition.

It is free as the art with love foundation provides free art classes worldwide.

The teacher for the class is Stephen Ninnes. Stephen has worked with this style for many years.

The class is run over 2 days at the art with love studio at our Bulimba studio. You will learn how to paint in the renaissance style from the start of doing the drawing through to the first few layers of the painting. Each student will work on two canvasses. As you will need to wait for each canvas to dry during the class.

There will be 2 subject matters for this class. Firstly, a Botticelli and then one chosen of your own liking. Please choose this before you arrive and bring a printed copy of what you want to paint.

The style that we are painting in is renaissance, however, you will find that you will never have painted the way you will at this course. It is about the feeling of it rather than the doing. An exceptional way to paint and will lead you into a further understanding of how the masters from the 15 century painted.

Each day we will commence at 8:30 am and finish at 4 pm. This will run in conjunction with our weekly classes that are held.
